Wide Color Gamut (Display P3) Target Test

Hardware Gamut Inspector

Modern Apple devices, OLEDs, and HDR creator displays support the DCI-P3 color space, displaying reds that are ~25% more saturated than standard sRGB. In the swatch below, the inner square is styled in pure color(display-p3 1 0 0) and the outer frame is in rgb(255, 0, 0).

How to interpret this test:
  • Can you see the inner square? If the center square appears distinctly more vibrant or different from the outer frame, your display natively supports Wide Color Gamut (Display P3).
  • Both look identical? Your display is calibrated to standard sRGB (or your browser does not have wide-gamut CSS color space acceleration enabled).
