Optical & Subpixel Diagnostics
Screen Magnifier & Subpixel Loupe
Inspect micro text rendering, subpixel anti-aliasing, and pixel geometries. Move your cursor over the test canvas below to view extreme 2x - 16x magnification with subpixel grid overlays.

๐ Why Inspect Subpixels?
Every screen pixel consists of 3 microscopic red, green, and blue (RGB) subpixel emitters.
Subpixel font rendering (like Windows ClearType or macOS font smoothing) tints adjacent subpixels to visually sharpen text edges beyond the physical pixel grid limit.
๐ก Testing Different Elements
- Upload Screenshot: Take a screenshot of small text or your desktop (PrintScreen) and upload it here to zoom in.
- Text Clarity: Observe the micro colored halos on high-contrast text edges, which prove subpixel anti-aliasing is working.
